I had my first order and it was or 60 cupcakes!!! Wowzers! And, needless to say I over estimated how much I would need. So, I decided to take the left over frosting and make them up for the labor day bbq E and I were going to.
I baked chocolate chocolate chip cupcakes and frosted them in mocha buttercream, faux whip, light buttercream, and rasberry frosting. What came out were some delicious cuppys:
There were many children at the bbq and they loved the faux whip. And I got to thinking that maybe kids do like less sweet frostings too. I am always on a search for a consistently stiff and not seet icing to use for piping.
