My final class Wilton 3 Cake

Well, its hard to believe that I have completed the first 3 courses of Wilton. I can't wait until the fondant class though, that is what I am most excited about.

So, my class was a little non-traditional, in that, we were not taught any fondant nor gumpaste in course 3, so my cake is not the "traditional" course 3 cake.
Also, as a disclaimer, I decided that my class cakes have to be small because most of the time they are not eaten. E hates cake, well hate is a strong word, but considering he never eats my cakes, its easier to say hate. And I and Mo cannot eat a whole cake by ourselves. So, my final cake was small to say the least. It kind of looks deflated, like I popped it or something.

So, here you are... get a good laugh...

In this class, I learned more royal icing flowers as well as swags and ruffles. It was really fun. I would reccomend the wilton classes to anyone who is interested in being creative and may have an artistic flair.
